Dance Movement Psychotherapy

 It is a creative way of using dance and movement to support dealing  with emotional, psychological and physical issues.  I believe that sometimes  words are not enough to express our emotions, feelings, thoughts or to release tension. Dance and movement can help to find the way to express ourselves. It can help us to improve our body awareness, confidence,        self-esteem and to experience the power of movement and dance. In a supporting and caring therapeutic relationship there is an opportunity to explore any issue at our own space. Any individual irrespective of  ages, ability, mobility or need  can benefit from it.

Personally, the reason I really like dance and movement therapy is because using movement, dance and listening, following my body always reveals something surprising to me, something unknown for my consciousness but known for my body.
